earth2flame is the collective name for ceramics by Stuart Lightheart.
I have enjoyed working with clay since I was very young. The alchemy that transforms raw earth into something durable enough to last for hundreds, if not thousands, of years captured my imagination then, and still challenges me.
I completed a Visual Art degree at Winchester School of Art in the UK, graduating in 2004 with first-class Honours.
Since then, in addition to researching and producing my own art work, I have led art projects with primary, secondary and special schools, community groups and colleges.
I studied ceramics in the UK, and have exhibited and sold works there and In Singapore.
I live in UK, and am happy to be contacted for commissions, collaborative work and work with students.
